AdsNet Lead Handling Policy

1. Purpose

This Lead Handling Policy explains how leads generated through AdsNet services are collected, routed, processed and managed.

It also clarifies the responsibilities of advertisers and businesses receiving leads.

2. Definition of a Lead

A lead may include:

  • Contact form submissions
  • Call requests
  • WhatsApp enquiries
  • Email enquiries
  • Quote requests
  • Appointment requests
  • Service enquiries
  • Campaign-generated contacts

3. Lead Ownership

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Leads generated for a client belong to that client.
  • AdsNet does not claim ownership of customer relationships established through leads.
  • AdsNet may retain records of lead activity for reporting, auditing, dispute resolution, system improvement and legal compliance purposes.

4. Lead Delivery

AdsNet may deliver leads through:

  • Email notifications
  • Dashboard notifications
  • CRM integrations
  • Reporting systems
  • Other approved channels

AdsNet does not guarantee immediate delivery in all circumstances.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Email providers
  • Hosting providers
  • Connectivity issues
  • Maintenance
  • Third-party systems

5. No Guarantee of Lead Quality

AdsNet cannot guarantee:

  • Customer intent
  • Customer purchasing ability
  • Customer seriousness
  • Customer accuracy
  • Customer honesty

A lead represents an enquiry and not a confirmed customer.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients receiving leads must:

  • Treat customers lawfully
  • Protect customer information
  • Comply with POPIA
  • Respond professionally
  • Use lead information only for legitimate business purposes

Clients may not:

  • Harass customers
  • Sell lead information unlawfully
  • Misrepresent services
  • Use deceptive practices
  • Contact customers excessively

7. Customer Disputes

Any dispute arising between a customer and an advertiser remains solely between those parties.

AdsNet is not responsible for:

  • Service quality
  • Product quality
  • Delivery failures
  • Pricing disputes
  • Refund disputes
  • Contract disputes

8. Fraudulent Leads

AdsNet does not guarantee that all leads will be genuine.

AdsNet may investigate suspicious activity but does not warrant that all leads are free from:

  • Spam
  • Bots
  • Competitor activity
  • Fraudulent submissions
  • Mistaken submissions

9. Lead Retention

AdsNet may retain lead records for:

  • Reporting
  • Analytics
  • System improvement

10. Policy Violations
