10.1 Google Ads API and Google User Data

AdsNet allows authorised business users to connect a Google Ads account that they own or are authorised to manage. Connecting a Google Ads account is optional and occurs only after the user grants permission through Google’s OAuth consent process.

Google data accessed

When a user connects a Google Ads account, AdsNet may access Google Ads customer account identifiers and relevant advertising information, including campaign settings, campaign status, budgets, targeting settings, keywords, negative keywords, advertisements and available campaign performance information.

AdsNet may also create or modify Google Ads campaign resources when the user instructs AdsNet to perform those actions through the AdsNet dashboard.

AdsNet does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos or other unrelated Google services through this integration.

How Google data is used

AdsNet uses Google Ads data only to provide user-facing Google Ads integration features, including:

  • Showing Google Ads accounts that the user is authorised to access.
  • Connecting the selected Google Ads account to AdsNet.
  • Displaying relevant account and campaign information.
  • Creating campaign resources requested and approved by the user.
  • Managing campaigns, budgets, targeting, keywords, advertisements and campaign status.
  • Displaying campaign results and information where those features are available.

Google Ads data is not used for determining creditworthiness, lending, data brokerage, selling user information or building advertising profiles unrelated to the Google Ads services requested by the user.

Storage and security

AdsNet stores only the Google Ads information and authorisation credentials reasonably necessary to maintain the integration and provide the requested functionality. Access to stored Google Ads information and OAuth credentials is restricted to authorised systems and personnel and protected through appropriate technical and organisational security controls.

Sharing and transfer

AdsNet does not sell Google user data.

AdsNet does not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties except where necessary to provide or secure the user-facing AdsNet service, comply with applicable law, or act on the user’s explicit instructions. Service providers that process data on behalf of AdsNet are required to process it only for the contracted service and subject to applicable confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Further information about service-provider responsibilities is available in the AdsNet Data Processing Agreement.

Retention, disconnection and deletion

AdsNet retains Google Ads information and OAuth authorisation credentials only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the connected Google Ads functionality, maintain required security and audit records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Users may disconnect their Google Ads integration through the available AdsNet account or support process. Users may also revoke AdsNet’s access through their Google Account permissions.

After disconnection or a valid deletion request, AdsNet will delete or securely remove stored Google Ads information and authorisation credentials that are no longer required, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention and accounting retention requirements.

Users may request disconnection, access, correction or deletion through AdsNet’s official support channels.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning

AdsNet does not use Google Ads API user data to develop, improve or train general-purpose or non-personalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. AdsNet does not transfer Google Ads API user data to third parties for the purpose of training such models.
