Publishing website to custom domain

Publishing to your own domain allows your website to be available using your business domain instead of a MyPages or AdsNet URL.

For example:

Instead of: https://mypages.co.za/site/yourbusiness

You can publish to: www.yourbusiness.co.za

Before You Begin

Before publishing, make sure you have:

  • An active domain name
  • Access to your domain’s DNS settings
  • An eligible AdsNet package that supports custom domains

Step 1

Open My Website page, Click Manage

Step 2

Select: Own Domain

Step 3

Enter your domain name.

For example:

www.yourbusiness.co.za

Step 4

Follow the DNS instructions provided by AdsNet to connect your domain.

An email will be send to you after you submit your hosting request

Your domain must point to the AdsNet hosting platform before publishing can be completed.

Step 5

Once your domain has been verified, click Publish.

Your landing page or website will then be available using your own domain.

Tips

  • Use your primary business domain whenever possible.
  • Keep your DNS records active to avoid interruptions.
  • Allow time for DNS changes to propagate after updating your records.
